OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Strategy & Media, the Content and Social Media Manager will oversee the successful execution of social media management efforts for our clients in addition to the overall well being of the service offer in general.

What you will do

    • Lead the creation and approves all social media strategy documents for clients, with direct implication in editorial calendar creation
    • Ensure continuous updating of social media strategy documents and gather campaign elements for social media platform set-up
    • Oversee, develop and approve conversation calendar creation and develop and enforce the approach to post to client pages, being responsible for quality assurance of content posted to social pages
    • Oversee creative development for social content
    • Review and understands content performance and develop optimization strategies to improve performance of efforts
    • Build and educate team and clients on social media best practices ensuring proper training of community management staff
    • Oversee moderation process for BAM and any required specificities for individual clients
    • Moderate and respond to comments/feedback from our clients’ communities
    • Gather and develop content for posts and responses
    • Client-facing contact for moderation issues
    • Responsible for social content strategy portion of pitches, estimation of efforts for costing purposes and for ensuring successful and ongoing social content creation for the agency’s social pages
    • Involved in marketing campaigns and programs for the agency
    • Propose and lead implementation of innovative service offerings within the realm social media
    • Propose innovative optimization strategies for client campaigns
    • Act as main contact to clients for all social media services, including moderation issues
    • Participate in client meetings as required and in sales opportunities related to social media.
    • Manage and coach members of the team in their daily activities
    • Oversee and delegate efforts to internal staff and freelancers
    • Assistance with completion of general department tasks, as required

What you will bring

    • Experience in social media content creation and in managing social communities
    • University degree or college diploma in a related field
    • Knowledge of social media marketing
    • Strong creative writing skills
    • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French
    • Advanced skills in Google Apps
    • Knowledge of social and Web analytics tools
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills
    • Responsible and autonomous
