Passionate about the value of engaging content, the Community Manager is an integral part of the BAM team. Reporting directly to the Content and Social Media Manager, the Community Manager will oversee the successful execution of social media management efforts for our clients.

 

What you will do

Social Media Campaigns

  • Participate in the creation of social media strategy documents for clients
  • Update social media strategy documents, as required
  • Gather campaign elements for social media platform set-up
  • Develop content for client platforms
  • Create editorial and conversation calendars
  • Work with creative team in their development of social assets
  • Post content to client platforms (direct and via social tools)
  • Gather and develop content for posts and responses
  • Develop optimization strategies to improve performance of efforts
  • Build and educate team on social media best practices
  • Moderate and respond to comments/feedback from our clients’ communities
Innovation
  • Integrate newest and innovative strategies and tactics to client platforms
  • Propose innovative service offerings within the realm of Social Media
  • Propose innovative optimization strategies for client campaigns
  • Identify opportunities for optimization measures
Client Contact
  • Act as support contact to clients for all social media services
  • Participate in client meetings as required, being able to present and defend proposed content creation
General
  • Assistance with completion of general departmental and organizational tasks, as required
  • Assistance with completion of client proposals, as required

What you will bring

Experience

  • Previous experience creating content for social communities
  • University degree or college diploma in a related field, journalism or communications preferred
  • Knowledge of social media marketing
Skills
  • Strong creative writing skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French
  • Bilingual
  • Knowledge of social and Web analytics tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
