OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Account Director, the role of the Account Supervisor is to plan, execute, and complete projects according to strict deadlines.

What you will do

  • Participate in strategic planning and brainstorms for client web presence and digital initiatives
  • Assist the Account Director in market research, competitive analysis, preparation for client pitches
  • Plan projects in order to accomplish its goals within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards
  • Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects for specific clients
  • Identify uncertainties and risks and develop schedule contingency plans
  • Responsible for proactively communicating changes in project scope to the Project Management team, identify potential problems and devise contingency plans
  • Manage Client Services resources, as well as with third party agencies
  • Evaluate deliverables prepared by the team to make sure the work meets requirements and maintains a high level of quality
  • Articulate design rationale and function strategy as it directly relates to accomplishing goals set out (where applicable)
  • Present work to the client at milestones throughout the production
  • Obtain, discuss and follow-through with feedback from client
  • Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
  • In coordination with the Marketing Services team, ensure the delivery of accurate and timely reports on all aspects of a project, brand or initiative
  • With the help of the Account Director, provide the client with accurate and descriptive estimates, proposals, statements of work (contracts) for smaller and one-off initiatives, as well as yearly interactive budgets for all long-term or larger-scale initiatives
  • Challenge direct reports to develop autonomy, strategic and creative thinking and organizational skills while serving as a role model and mentor
  • Strive to inspire coworkers across all departments to attain goals and pursue excellence
  • Responsible for the performance management of their direct team members
  • Build a knowledge base of each client’s business, organization and objectives
  • Explain the technology, rational, strategy, etc., in proposed solutions to clients and others (when applicable)
  • Provide soft-sales (up-selling opportunities) or articulate these opportunities to the appropriate channels
  • Keep current on new technologies as they relate to website and web application development
  • Some travel or overtime may be required

What you will bring

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English with good knowledge of French
  • University degree or college diploma in the field of marketing, communications or related
  • 2 years direct work experience in an account or project management capacity, including all aspects of process development, execution and managing a team, preferably in web marketing environment
  • Ability to think interactively
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
  • Exceptional attention to detail
